Küstenfliegergruppe 406 operated the BV 138 in the northern Atlantic; no losses or damage recorded on those dates.
The only Fw 200 unit operating in the same area at this time was 3./KG 40 commanded by Hptm Robert Maly which appears to have used other Staffel ac as 1./KG 40 was or had converted to the He 177. F8+NT was lost in the southern Atlantic off Spain
