Evgeny,

What you have just supplied doesn't look good for my argument for what I believed happened.

Only other suggestion I can make is to find the unit diary or from a higher command (if they still exists) as surely they would record the 2 notable events (Lang's 100th and 18 in a day) and whether they were on the same day or not.
