Re #1265-Jim Crow collection has another image of this wreckage with the location identified as Bron/Lyon. No other info.

I doubt if that's correct since although there was one Ju 88 found at Bron (no details recorded) there was no Me 410, as seen in the foreground. Both those types were found at Salon but none of the Ju 88s there had the W.Nr. 330177 nor the code letters GL.

The reverse of the photo shows that it has been removed from an album and the caption torn. "…is, France" is legible. So, we need somewhere else where there were both a Ju 88 S-3 and an Me 410. In France there are few possibilities for the latter type since the only ones still there by D-Day—so far as I recall—would have belonged to II./KG 51, 1.(F)/121 or 1.(F)/33 and none of those units had very many. Ju 88 S were more common of course.
