Could just be stock footage of the a/c and not taken during the raid.

Dave,
Thanks for sharing those great film links. Peter, Although those nose stripes had been reported in some sources to have been applied for the Dieppe operation, it has now been well established that they where applied for the pre-Dieppe exercise known as Operation Rutter which took part in July 1942. The stripes were removed prior to Dieppe. Tom |
