Re: Victims of the Remagen Bridge?
From the Lw.Kdo. West report for 8 March 1945:
NSG 1: 10 Ju 87 attack on the bridge at Remagen from 16.26–16.53 at 400–200m. Hits observed on the bridge. Strong light AA defence over the target. 2 a/c broke off owing bad weather and technical breakdown.One of the missing crews had bailed out and later returned to their unit. |
