Re: Natter: Manned Missile of the Third Reich

I am hoping for more information about the development of German high pressure, or full pressure suits. And the extent of German knowledge of spaceflight. Hints and information are given in other books, but I would like to see some additional information.

Re: Natter: Manned Missile of the Third Reich

So, is this an expansion on the work Brett Gooden presented in the Classic Publications volume "Projekt Natter"?

Re: Natter: Manned Missile of the Third Reich

Hello,

The book has officially sold out.

I obtained an author-signed copy per The Aviation Bookshop (UK), (Thanks Justin and the team).

This is not a book to have and to hold - it weighs a ton (the delivery carton weighed in at 4.1 kgs)! It needs to be handled with care and read on a flat surface, with adequate support.

The book is superb. The production values are first-class - binding, paper and illustrations are superlative. There is an extensive notes section, and a comprehensive index.

Personally, the information on Erich Bachem and Lothar Sieber was most revealing (there are even copies of Sieber's will, and his death certificate).

I'll leave it to others more competent than myself to comment on the technical side of the Natter.

Money well spent!

Col.
