During one of our several interviews with him we discussed his time with 2./ EJG2 , in fact he had the original emblem of this unit in his den. He gave us a copy of his Flugbuch and there is no "Green 5". He did fly "Green 14" twice but his last a/c was "Red 2" and that was at Schleswig.
