Post # 5 was rather an explanation as to why some further info is sought. May I refer to post # 1 where focus is on Capt. Robert E. Brown only. That's why I added "Further details known", perhaps not fully indicating that this also involved the other men. Regrets for my bad English here. At this moment no picture was found yet of Cpl. Carroll D. Simmons. Three letters are out to newspapers in WV that brought the news of his death (1944) and reburial (1949). Thanks for updates on findagrave.com, most helpful. Regards, Leendert
