Hello,
It's seems we can see a yellow band around the engine cover. This yellow band was painted on the planes of Luftflotte 4 ( Lfl.Kdo.4 ) on the nose and on the tail. Only II/JG 52 had these yellow band. Not I and III/JG 52. Erich Hartmann was the GruppenKommandeur of I/JG 52 But if this plane was from II/JG 52, maybe it was the plane of Wilhelm Batz. But an other plane with the same Gruppen marking of II/JG 52 existed at Neubiberg at May 1945. It was a Bf 109 K-4. Best regards, Lumabe
