I have the article in question, and it isn't that detailed that it allows one to analyse Alcorn's method. That is the reason why I made only a brief mention of it in my forthcoming book on the Battle of Britain (see link below).

Obviously you have access to the more extensive material which Alcorn used to arrive at his conclusions.

It would be interesting if you could please specify his fundamental error in the understanding of statistics. (Maybe that could be useful for the English edition of my book.)

the old tread on Alcorn's articles was started around Sept. 10 2004 by Christer Bergström so it isn't on this board but on the old 12 0'Clock High board. I haven't checked if the thread or the old board generally is still available.
