Stohl had four confirmed claims with 2./ZG1:- 12th October 1942 Whitley 1555 hrs 600 metres Nr.1 8th August 1943 B-24 1235 hrs 3500 metres Nr.2 18th August 1943 Sunderland 2000 hrs 2000 metres Nr.3 21st September 1943 Sunderland 1718 hrs 2000-700 metres Nr.4 He was a Feldwebel at death. It would appear that Stohl was given the claim over Meister. Kind Regards Johannes |

All of these kills pre-date the formation of 2./ZG 1 with Ju 88s and I would say that these kills tended to be shared due to the numbers of attacks by up to 8 Ju 88s
