Any RAF units, including PAF ones, would have operated under the Mediteranean Allied Air Forces, possibly Desert Air Force (which I believe was 1st Tactical Air Force officially at this time) or perhaps Balkan Air Force.

205 Group was part of MASAF (Mediterranean Allied Strategic Air Forces).

The only special duties unit listed separately (i.e. not part of a Group or Wing) in a MATAF (i.e. Tactical AF) order of battle for 1945 was the US 2641 st Special Group (H) Prov.
