So far "N5+DK", N5+EK" and N5+UK" are documented photographically, the first two being found at Bayreuth.
This possibility remains to be confirmed though.

Marc,
With an early canopy and Emil wing ? The tailplane strut is visible, on ground and still linked to the rear fuselage.

Note, too, the Lorraine cross drawn inside a V, painted two times on the visible wing.
Note, too, the early crosses on wing and on fuselage.
Since the octane triangle isn't visible on fuselage top, this is most probably a Jumo engined Bf 109.
The expired auction in attachment.

Franck.

Thanks for your insight Franck; location might well be thus in France. A quick check of the +NK" STKz gives a possible candidate:

Bf 109 D-1 W.Nr. 2938 "CL+NK", Luftdienst-Kdo 12/1, damaged 21 May 1941, Fl.Pl. Mondésir, France. The same "CL+NK", described as a Bf 109 E W.Nr. 2908 in A.I.2G serial 253, was found abandoned at Fl.Pl. Rennes-Saint-Jacques in August 1944.

Cheers

Thank you Marc,

I didn't took time to check and, to tell the truth, my Excel sheet is out of service; I have a back up, fortunately, but I don't want to use it except as a back up (!) to put the first in order. Soooo
...
Yes, in France; I was thinking about a Reims (SG101, Sch.FS1 or ZS2) machine but that 2938 suits me very well. 1941-1944 seems a long period but it was already packed and, obviously, left.
Note that once again there are a thousand of Mondésir in France....
Mondésir, 44290 Guémené-Penfao, France, 77km from Rennes
Mondésir, 35360 Montauban-de-Bretagne, France, 38km from Rennes
Mondésir, 35610 Saint-Georges-de-Gréhaigne, France, 85.5km
Mondésir, 53300 Couesmes-Vaucé, France, 93.9km
Mondésir, 53410 Le Bourgneuf-la-Foręt, France, 70.3km
Just in Rennes area.

That's the idea.

Until further notice.
Regards,
Franck.
