Re: Pilot ID SB2C-3 VB-20 November 22,1944

On Oct 18, 1944 Lt(jg) David Ferrar Hughes 291231, and ARM2/c Burnal Lloyd Morr 615 12 93, flying off the Enterprise ran out of fuel in SB2C-3 19379 and were picked up by the Gridley. Mission to the Manila area.

On Jan 16, 1945, off the Lexington, in SB2C-3 18768 they were shot down by enemy aircraft and MIA. South Hainan I.

Enjoy!

Frank.
