It is quite a few years since I have researched the unit, but I seem to recall some cases qualifying for MACR but where no MACR could have been located. This for the period covered by MACR. I am well aware of desperate state of affairs in regard of the unit's records, though some gems appear periodically. They also have had a nice informal diary of the unit, or was it just only 75th? In general, however, it is a forgotten unit, despite a very interesting history. Ed I am not sure if the book goes down the detail discussed here.
