Not sure if there is any questions here, but I also have that article in Flying Review. Verified Albatros aircraft used by Hefty are 153.58 stylised I (Nov - Dec 1917) 153.169 '6' stylized I (left side) and stylized G (right side) (April - June 1918) 153.265 '?' (June 1918) 253.64 '6' (prob. July-Aug 1918) taken over by Corporal Geza Keisz and lost 28 Aug 1918 253.71 '6' the one he was shot down in 22 Aug 1918 The I stood for his sweetheart Ilonka but what the G stood for is still unknown. I have never seen any Austro-Hungarian source state which Italian pilot that shot down Hefty. They still quote "Hanriot". From which Italian source do you quote? Cheers Stig |
