Hello Ed,

A number of years ago I posted on a thread on the axis history forum. You'll see a number of french aircraft listed there showing civil codes. Hopefully this might serve as a starting point for you, though obviously much information has emerged since I posted. Its at:

Hi Ed,

No problem. I wasn't suggesting anything else, merely providing a link to a list of aircraft operated by the french air force with previous civil codes. For what its worth I think you'll find that the vast majority of civil aircraft saw military service in france 1939/40. So most not stored.
