Re: Hans Philipp Fw 190 A/C at time of Death

I appreciate the reply but that A/C is an Fw 190A-5 and he was shot down in
an Fw 190A-6 "Red 3". I can't believe I can't find one image of this A/C.
JG 1 A/C at the time had the checkerboard cowlings and it matched the number color, so I could assume it was a red & black checkerboard cowling with Red 3.
Don't know for sure and don't know the emblems. When I have an original
piece of art depicting a specific battle or time, I like it to be accurate.
