Re: Painting of Fw 190 used by J.G.54 in summer 1944
Hello Sebastian.
The question you ask has as many answers as there were FW 190 Producers. What I mean is each FW 190 producer including licensee had a unique interpretation of the OS list camouflage and markings provided by the RLM, and kept this interpretation as a copy write of sorts as the design each factory came up with was kept and evolved through the war in some cases. I suggest you ask about the paint and markings of a particular aircraft including Production number. JG 54 in the summer of 1944 did not put field applied camouflage to the aircraft because it was no longer a priority. I hope this helps guide you to obtaining an answer. Good luck! |
