This was Field Order 157 the first mission for both groups, the only 2 flying, a sweep to Netherlands. No claims or losses.
36 P-38s from 55FG , 32 P-47s from 356FG (1 from 359FS, 15 from 360FS, 16 from 361st); one of the 361st was Selden Edner an experienced pilot on loan from the 4FG who led the mission.
