Delivery of aircraft direct to squadrons
Hello Forumites
As part of on-going research, were operational aircraft between the wars (ie no ATA), delivered to directly to squadrons - in particular, early Wellingtons from Brooklands going straight to 99 (Mildenhall), 38 (Marham) 9 (Honington) Tia Andy Bigweeker |

Re: Delivery of aircraft direct to squadrons
Hello Andy,
I cant I'm afraid answer your question, but is there a case for cross posting this on the Allied and Soviet forum as it has more viewers generally and also more with likely knowledge of the Wellington?. Edit Even if not it seems to me that people tend to look at threads more frequently where a response has been received, so I hope that in that regard my reply helps. Regards, Clint |
