The Ju 88D of the National Museum of the USAF. They still have not fixed the tail number on the displayed aircraft.

Chuck

This aircraft has had many different paint schemes over the years, which tail number are you referring to?

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Look at the autos in the Ju 88 D photo, it was probably taken in the late 1949s or 50s, unless there was a vintage auto show iconcurrent with the aircraft display.

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

#3764 and #3765 do show different planes. Just compare the canopy.
#3765 most probably is Ju 88 R-1, D5+EV. Also it seems that it had it's original wheels when the photo was taken, but just painted in silver. Now the plane has the wrong sized wheels that were used for the early Ju 88 versions.

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Simon,
I agree, was focused on the cars in the foreground, didn't pay attention to the canopy. What I also missed was the car closest to the camera was right hand drive, pointing to a UK location.
