Gilles, looks like some kind of scavange driven pump (oil) for something...Shall have a look later at some sites and manuals to try to find out something similar, but as you do know this is NOT my field.
My initial guess (first picture) was that it was related to the hub of a propeller....but it seems too small and the alluminium tub does not fit onto the picture of a propeller hub...so...we do need a manual indeed to match this, or an expert from the Forum. There are guys here who are indeed MASTERS onto the subject. But why the 87 number instead of a 88 number for a JU 88 part? Am really happy for your findings! Another nice mistery!
