Thanks. My fault I didn't read your post properly. I thought you said that 6666/18 was the Besen machine. Reading it again you clearly didn't. Also it shows that I must have owned the Fokker Anthology before WDF 9, which as you say has a clear photo.Alas, the records I have in my excel doc are based on the first photo I see of an aircraft. Still all clear now hopefully. The Fokker Anthology has photos of Auer's machine with the blue (?) striped tail. I had thought both of the Davidstern machines were flown by Auer.Now I'm less certain. I believe all the photos in the links I provided are captured machines,so unless he had more than one machine at the same time, not impossible I suppose, it suggests that the one in link on this site is not Auer's machine(?) Also one machine appears to have been captured by the RAF's 41 Squadron and the other by a USA unit Regards, Clint |
