Re: Additional info sought about four Nachtjagd (Nachtschlacht) losses, 31 December 1944 - 1 January 1945

Hi Theo,

I've emailed you some information separately.

1./NJG4 Ju88 G-1 3C+LL (Uffz. Gruner and crew) WNr. 713755: where did the aircraft crash? (the a/c sortied to the St. Dizier-Paris area).
Sorry, can't help you on the crash location of W.Nr. 713755 (3C+LL), but two crew are buried at Andilly (Meurthe-et-Moselle).

4./NJG1 Bf110 G-4 G9+GP (Uffz. Mikusky and crew) WNr. 140207: where did the aircraft crash (in Belgium?).
Once again, I can't help with the crash location of 140207 (G9+GY/GP), but two crew are buried at Lommel.

5./NJG2 Ju88 G-6 4R+KN (Uffz. Schulte and crew) that crashed at Palenberg, north of Aachen: what was the a/c's WNr?
Ju88G-6 W.Nr. 620872 (4R+KN).

5./NJG2 Ju88 G-6 4R+EN (Ofw. Kurz and crew) that crashed near Charleroi: what was the exact crash location and what was the a/c's WNr?
Ju88G-6 W.Nr. 620810 (4R+EN/EW)

Cheers

Rod

Excellent mate -cheers and thanks for these additional details, which will be put to good use in the preparation of the final map in vol 5 of the 1944 NCA series.

Cheers, Theo
