Re: Avions No 237 includes article about Werner Petermann
Hi all,
the article devoted to Werner Petermann is in the tradition of the French review AVIONS, the first number of which dates back to the early 1990s.
it traces the career of this little-known pilot, and is based on a set of unpublished photos. on a regular basis, the journal AVIONS offers articles devoted to subjects never before published and avoids repetitions.
such is the guideline of AVIONS it is also valid for its articles devoted to the WW1, WW2 or the pacific air war.
Being published in France, it could not work on repetitions at the risk of tiring its readers. the subject of the current issue devoted to French aeronautical meteorological units in 1939/40 is an illustration of this.
AVIONS is without a doubt the n° 1 magazine for WW1 and WW2 enthusiasts. the challenger magazine FANA DE L'AVIATION is more devoted to a broader panorama of aeronautics including civil aviation, contemporary aviation etc ...
have a nice week-end
