![]() One should never say never. I looked in the WDF (all three) but just in the end where normally the text brings up service with other Air Forces and such things. Typically it appeared in the beginning.... ![]() I have a book about Martlesham Heath - not mentioned at all. However I found a small clipping from Cross & Cockade (overlooked last time) where Lord Balfour mentions he flew the aircraft from Orfordness to Bircham Newton. No dates except "Spring 1918". He had cooling problems and upon arrival the engine seized. He claimed it was the last flight of that aircraft, but as we can see it was not. If Alegi is correct it was even returned to Italy. Not every day my knowledge about an aircraft in RFC (?)/RAF service gets trippled.... Cheers Stig |
