I see the villages of Altenhorst and Ickhorst close to Hannover-Langenhagen, but Evershorst (Hüde-Everhorst/Dümmersee) is 88.5 km west of Hannover-Langenhagen airfield and 11 km south of Diepholz. The only information I have on a Hannover-Everhorst (Langenhagen) is:
Hannover Evershorst (Langenhagen): Constructed 1936 within 59 days, opening 1 April 1936. Codename "Insulin". Relocation of Focke-Wulf design department to Bad Eilsen during WWI and production site at Evershorst, which led to evaluation of new types on this airfield. Considerable damage by RAF raid August 1944. I see no visual evidence of there ever being an airfield there, so it must have been plowed up and returned to cultivation after the war. Do you have any additional information on Evershorst? L.
