Jon and Lutz. The bullet is definitely 13mm - so how can it be a US .50?

That rifling you see comes from the rifling found inside of the barrel of the gun. It certainly doesn't look like a .5 to me. Stephen |

I have dug up US.50's and also a few German 13mm heads at crash sites.
I am sure this is .50, lets face it a good few were fired over the South of England during the war. |
