Re: Jagdwaffe Tailband questions
So if I understand correctly, when the landings in Normandy began the western front Jagdwaffe units adorned with tailbands were JG1 (red), JG3 (white), JG11 (yellow), III/JG54 (blue) and JG27 (green)...am I missing any?
I know when III/JG53 began Reichsverteidigung operations in late July/August 1944 they were using black tailbands. Last edited by kb; 14th October 2006 at 03:41. |
