RAF Flying Training and Support Units by Ray Sturtivant et al offers: Formed 31/1/37 as Pilotless Aircraft Section at Henlow for co-op with Army AA units (became part of 13 MU 'A' Sqn in 43 Grp); 15-29/2/40 Hawkinge; 1/3/40 to 22 Grp; 22/6/40 St Athan in 70 Grp; by 12/40 renamed Pilotless Aircraft Unit; 3/5/42 Manorbier; 15/3/46 Disbanded. Not surprisingly primary equipment was Queen Bee (peak strength 35 aircraft) with a motley collection of support a/c. Codes used were R2. Hope this helps NiallC
