Bomber Operational Clasp POW with unnamed crew 5 May, 1941; they suffered engine failure and ran out of fuel and made a force landing on he beach at Waxham, Norfolk. One of the crew is killed in the crash. Alternate spelling: Obenbach & Obenhack. Added: The ac hit a sand dune. Remaining crew: Gefr Karl heinz Rose, Obs; Uffz Josef Simon, R/O (KIA) and Uffz Wolfgang Winkler von Mohrendorf, Gnr..
