On June 10, 1945 Capt. Judge Edmond Wolfe claimed 2 Zekes at 0845 hours, 30 miles N of Kagoshima Wan, and 2 Jacks at 0900 hours, 50 miles N of Kagoshima Wan. He was flying a P-47N; his assigned aircraft was P-47N-1 44-87959, but I do not know whether he was flying it that day. If my memory is right, mission reports can be found both at Maxwell AFB, and NARA II in College Park, Maryland.
He was killed on Nov 24, 1948, in F-80A-1 44-85302. Frank.

I'm also looking for info /photos of another 333rd FS pilot Capt Douglas V. Currey who flew a earlier tour with the 44th FS in the Solomans.
