That Battle wreck is L5323 of 142 Squadron, date of loss not known. The serial in that photo above has been tampered with. L5227 'PH-J' of 12 Sqn. (Sgt. Marland as pilot) was lost on 12 May 1940 during the famous attack on the bridges. L5227 crashed on the bank of the Albert Canal, there are photos of this wreck. Dave Underwood may have more to say on this matter. Both of us have photos of this 'QT' wreck, clearly showing the serial as L5323. Regards, Martin Gleeson.
