Hello Rick,
according to ww2.dk/air/kampf/kg30.htm the IV./KG 30 was formed on 27 Oct 1940 as Ergänzungsstaffel/KG 30. In April 1941 this unit increased to Gruppe with Stab IV./KG 30 new 10./KG 30 from Erg.Sta./KG 30 11./KG 30 new and 12./KG 30 new. Regards Leo
