Bf 109 GC+MA or GC+MX - Infos?
Gentlemen,
I received a photo (can't show it unfortunately) of a Bf 109 E, Stammkennzeichen GC+M? (can only be A or X) with a yellow fuselage band in front of the Balkenkreuz, presumably on the Eastern Front in 1942 (there is a Ju 88 of KG 76 in the background). GC+M? is not a known Stkz block (at least to me) and the operational marking is unusual as well. Is there any info available about this bird? Regards, Christian |
