I have no reference with Bohnenkamp wit JG 26, but making three claims with Stab./JG 300 23th August 1944 until 28th September 1944 as a Feldwebel. Walter Dahl's Leistungbuch has him as a witness many times during 1945, the last being on 30th April 1945 as an Oberfeldwebel, and Dahl spells his name 100% Bohnenkamp, but guess this doesn't help too much. I do have a claim for Bonnenkamp as an Uffz making a claim on 1st February 1944 with 3./JG 52, the rank progression wouldn't be a problem. However I do have a Date of Birth of 26th March 1922 which would make him a little young to be in JG 26 in 1940 possibly? I do have the names and Dates of Births of one Gruppe of JG 52, I'll try to find it as I suspect it's I./JG 52. Kind Regards Johannes
