Gentlemen:
I can not be 100% certain that this serial number is correct as it it a match of several sources. I believe that the correct serial number is 42-106746 for Woods KMAC on 29 May 1944. I have a tentative code letter of 'N' but that could be wrong. Woods's assigned aircraft was 42-103590 VF-N. If you all can confirm VF-B as being accurate then I will gladly change my records.
