Re: Karl Geyr
Born 27 April 1924 in Munich, died in Munich. When I took him to the graves of his 3 crew for the first time, he went quiet, looked at me and pointed to the left of the first grave and said "I should be there". Apart from losing his boots, he suffered not even a scratch when he baled out

Re: Karl Geyr
What did Karl Geyr did after World War II? So he was 100 years of age when he passed away. May Lord be with Karl up in Haeven!

Thanks for the feedback Chris. All this means that I'll cherish my Postlethwaite Print of Karl's "Flug zum Absprungplatz" even more! https://posart.com/product/flug-zum-absprungplatz/
Best regards, Marcel |

Re: Karl Geyr
Do you know that this was sort of designed by my wife (she chose the draft sketch that Mark produced) with advice from Karl. Karl then arranged for Hogeback and Dipberger to sign it but didn't sign it himself!
