The most comprehensive known to me source on the Fw 190 D-15 and D-14 are pages 438-452 of 'Focke-Wulf Fw 190D camouflage & markings, Part II' by Deboeck, Larger & Poruba.

Yes, indeed -- a very detailed description of the Luftwaffe's situation and reasoning, the available and planned engines, and the D-14 and D-15 variants of the Dora.
