Can anyone confirm the serial of his Gladiator when he was shot down on this date?

Re: Fg Off Caesar Hull 263 Sqn 27 May 40
Hi Chris,
I have it as N5635. My only source for the serial was the excellent '263 SQUADRON, Gladiators over the Fjords' (pages 66-67, 89 & 96) by Alex Crawford. I could not find it in any primary source I looked at. Regards, Martin Gleeson. martinaviationpages.com |

Alex says the same thing in his Gloster Gladiator book Vol 1 published by MMP/Stratus in 2009
The book says: "Aircraft identified by serial number found on the wreckage" Cheers Stig |

Hello,
I think the info originally comes from Birger Larsen in Norway, who as I understand visited the crash-site. Best regards/Håkan
