Using a short ladder, a man dressed in little clothing climbed to the roof. Suspended by the tops of his feet, a satchel charge slid from his back to his hand. Then it was hurled through the front slit. He pulled himself up, moved to the center of the roof, and lay down. A brief puff came from the slit. Then German troops in rubber rafts navigated a narrow stream to move further inland. Last edited by edwest2; 25th March 2025 at 19:31.
