Fw190 in desert camouflage ?

I need your help. I remember to have seen elsewhere a pic (in color ? colorized ?) of a pair of Fw190 in desert camouflage, in flight. But I can't remember where ! I had no success in my library (but I have so many books !)...
Somebody has a better memory than me ?
Thank you in advance.

What about 'Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in North Africa' by Andrew Arthy & Morten Jessen?

Re: Fw190 in desert camouflage ?

Hi Von Alles,

I thought I vaguely remembered seeing such a picture, so I scanned the most likely books and came up with the following:
  • Not a photo, but the illustration on the cover of Wydawnictwo Militaria #63, by our very own Nick Beale and the late, great Ferdinando D'Amico:
  • No color photos, but many good black/white photos of desert-camouflaged SG 4 aircraft in Italy from late 1943 to May 1944, in "Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Volume 2 1943-1944" by Smith and Creek. (See pages 551-568 in Chapter 18, which was written by Nick Beale.) Includes a color profile.
Hope that helps,
Leon Venter

The description of those photos from Spektor was that they were taken near Marseille, 1 December 1943. Fw 190A, JGr. Süd

Not sure it was a desert camouflage...No white operation markings too. Another mystery to solve... JGrSüd possible.
Thank you !
