I have one more 404th Fighter Squadron, 371st Fighter Group pilot who poses a mystery. He joined the 404th in April of 1945 and possibly flew a few missions. However, he received at least nine Air Medals (clusters) so had to have flown combat with some other unit. Would anyone have information on him? Thank you for any help offered.

His American tour as a P-47 instructor was with 535th FS/87th FG at Camp Springs AAF, MD, late 1943-early 1944.
