ZG76 losses 29th January 1944

Hi,

Looking for details of ZG76's losses on 29th January 1944.

I am particularly interested in trying to tie down the identity of the aircraft claimed by Major Richard Ott of the 20th Fighter Group that went down at 11:50 in the vicinity of Mainz.

I have attached the combat report submitted by Major Ott.

That day all three groups of ZG 76 (not ZG 26) together lost 14 aircraft due to combat in the "vicinity of Mainz" - how do you want to find the correct one?

Thanks for your reply. I have corrected my error, typing too quickly without engaging my brain fully!

I was hoping that someone with access to more information about ZG76 might be able to match the time and location of the Major Ott's combat with one of the losses.
