James, in case you are still reading the forum, the answer to your question, after reading some Soviet archival documents, is that the crew of a Heinkel He 111 of 2./KG 53 was captured. Presumably, it was shot down above the spearheads of the 3rd Guards Mechanised Corps, which was under continuous heavy air attack by the Luftwaffe on 11 February 1943. The 77th Guards Anti-Aircraft Regiment was attached to the Corps at the time, but it is not clear from the selectively digitised Soviet files who shot down the Heinkel and took the crew prisoner.
