Information concerning loss of Oberfeldwebel Josef Meisenhälter - killed 25.10.1942
Hi,
Can anyone provide information on the loss of Oberfeldwebel Josef Meisenhälter who was a pilot in a transporter squadron? He was killed on the 25th October 1942 over the Mediterranean Sea. He was an experienced flier with the EK I and Golden Flight Badge. Many thanks as always Rick

GQM loss return 15 Nov 1942, item 93 and database www.Ju52archiv.de: 26.10.42 11./K.G.z.b.V. 1 Ju 52 WNr. 3131 100%. Shot down by Allied nightfighter, ditched in the Mediterranean Sea between Melemes and Tobruk. F Ofw Josef Meisenhälter + Bf Uffz Paul Dickmann + Bm Fw Georg Burgis (or Burges) + Bs Uffz Roman Brückl +. Regards Leo
