YouTube WW2 topic postings
I have noticed that more and more of these types of postings are occurring on YouTube.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJWtvMhYuZg&t=897s They seem to be a legitimate posting about a WW2 topic, but once you start watching it, you realize the post is total BS. With the advances in both AI image and text creation, it is getting easier to generate such posts. Anyone have some favorites? |

YouTube WW2 topic postings
Hello
This is a topic that I alluded to an a somewhat recent post about German tank aces and their alleged scores ... Unfortunately, since the middle of last year YouTube has become infested with all sorts of channels on all sorts of topics that are entirely generated by artificial intelligence. One would think that the higher-ups at YouTube would want to crack down on this but based on the chief executive officer's recent remarks on his enthusiasm for more, not less, artificial intelligence created content this doesn't appear likely. There are still many excellent human produced channels but apparently it's up to the consumer to figure out which videos are worth watching and which aren't. Horrido! Leo |

Re: YouTube WW2 topic postings
Hello,
The goal of Hollywood is to not pay anyone anything. The goal of the fictional Artificial lntelligence industry is to find as many ways to sell its product as possible. I say fictional because there is no actual intelligence involved. These are just the output of sophisticated computer programs. I suspect the people who run Youtube view these as like text postings. Those that get a lot of views are studied. Lessons learned can be applied to future posts/videos. As long as people continue to consume "content" like this, they will continue to make it. Should the number be below some line then fewer will appear on Youtube. For those created by actual people, too many suffer from a lack of serious research and too many cover the same subjects. |

There's a guy who's channel is 'Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles'; he talks extensively about all kinds of WW2 aircraft subjects, sometimes giving detailed discussions about all sorts of allied and axis aircraft. |
