MACR 4175. Possibly had a name on nose; Group symbol Square "K" not yet applied.

Re: eBay: Allied intrest

Hi Ed. I couldn't find "Blutehn" on any map though it's mentioned in the 447th inventory and a couple of times in the MACR; supposed to be a few kms. NW of Wittenberge. Maybe our German friends can help ?
Regards
Nick

There is a place called Blüthen in Germany, but it is bit more than a few km NW of Wittenberge

With a little imagination one can say it is "in the neighbourhood"

Cheers
Stig

Re: eBay: Allied intrest

Thanks Stig. A good bet on the name I think; that's about 20kms. from Wittenberge. Last seen at 52.45 - 13-15; Bluthen Decimal Degrees are 53.16-11.81 according to Maps. MACR reports location approx. 11 kms. from Wittenberge.
Near enough for me.
