Into the Firestorm: The Allied Heroes Who Flew World War II's Most Daring Missions

Another broad, vague and hyperbolic title. This is actually the first complete history of C-47 aircrew as mentioned in the description. Something direct like this would sell more copies. Scheduled for 2 June.

Usual disclaimer,

Re: Into the Firestorm: The Allied Heroes Who Flew World War II's Most Daring Missions

"Yet their contribution to the war was crucial. Without resupplies from C-47s, Patton would have lost the Battle of the Bulge. Without the willingness of these aircrews to fly directly over the Himalayas, Japan's war in the east may well have prevailed."

Yeesh!

One of my favorites is the person or vehicle or incident "that won the war."

Surely a bit daft to fly 'into a Firestorm'?
